More than 3000 businesses operate in Los Gatos and there are a dozen neighborhood shopping centers, meaning you can find anything you need without leaving the city.
Abundance of Nature and Leisure
Los Gatos is blessed with many beautiful parks and trails. Vasona Lake Park has hiking and biking trails, as well as boating on the lake in summer. Mountain trails pass through the gorgeous scenery of the Santa Clara mountains including Los Gatos creek, one of the few urban streams in Santa Clara County. There are regular farmers’ markets where you can buy fresh local produce. In addition, the exquisite surrounding vineyards offer unique wine-tasting experiences.
A summer highlight is "Jazz on the Plazz", a series of weekly free concerts held at Los Gatos Town Plaza. The concerts bring top jazz musicians to town each Wednesday evening from late June until late August. Residents and visitors relax with picnics at the plaza to enjoy this popular annual event.
